Customer Review of White - iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation USB Charger Adapter by Sir Charles Panther
Customer Rating 4 of 5
Customer Summary Nice, Compact Little Piece of Kit
Customer Full Review Yes, the original iPod Shuffle charger has got a much better design to it, the way the Shuffle fits snugly inside that little lip and plugs in at the same time, the way the entire dinky assembly stands up on the table like some defiant little piece of Jobsian sculpture. This doodad hasn't really got that kind of evocative power, but then again, that's not what it's about. This is a very simple and straightforward piece of gear; stick one end in the USB and the other in your Shuffle, and you've got power, baby. And it works just fine.

It does seem to me that this device charged the Shuffle just a little bit faster than the factory rig does. No, I didn't time it; I've got no way to test this scientifically, so can't offer hard data, graphs or flow charts.

All, in all, this is a nice little piece of kit. No wires to tangle or tie, which is the single best feature for me. It's one simple little piece, and it goes in your pocket just like pocket change. Take it to work, wherever, and in no time you're charging your Shuffle. And, the price for this strikes as a good value. I recommend it.
